The Algarve

The village has a great selection of restaurants, catering for multiple cuisines. A few small friendly bars and shops can be found dotted around the lanes. A supermarket is close to Tempomar apartments.
The West Coast
Along this 200 km coastline there features a succession of sandy beaches and rugged inlets. Rich in flora and fauna, this untamed area is a designated natural park and has become a favoured holiday destination for anyone interested in walking, bird watching, cycling or horse riding. Water sports are also popular from surfing and paddle-boarding, to fishing and scuba diving.
Lagos
For Portuguese culture, history and night-life, this local town has it all. Only 15 minutes drive from Burgau, experience the hustle and bustle of the farmers and fish market. Explore the narrow streets and alleyways of the main town in search of those holiday souvenirs. From Lagos Marina, daily boat trips offer fishing, sight-seeing or dolphin watching.
Zoo Marine
A fantastic day for the whole family. This popular aquatic theme park promises to make a memorable day out of your holiday. For a truly unforgettable experience try the `interaction with dolphins´ before heading home. There is a coach service twice a week throughout the season from Burgau.
Slide & Splash
For the young at heart, this water park is packed with thrilling slides for the daring or shallow pools and water activities for the little ones. If you don’t have a car, a coach service six days a week is available from Burgau throughout the season.
